Central Processing Centre

Central Processing Centre (CPC) is the main component of the proposed Mega Food Park, which is envisaged to be a well defined food processing zone containing state of the art processing facilities with support infrastructure and well established supply chain. Central Processing Centre (CPC) has been conceived as the arena for processing the produces obtained from the Collection Centers (CCs) and Primary Processing Centers (PPCs) located geographically in accordance with the availability of the raw material (agriculture produce). The location of Mega Food Park would be near Agartala. Central Processing Centre (CPC) covering an area of 50 acres will be allocated for the project where fruits, vegetables, milk, cereals, oilseeds, fish products and other crops will come for final processing after primary processing from the Primary Processing Centers (PPCs) within the zone of Influence. The raw produce is collected from the farmers at the Collection Centers (CCs) surrounding these Primary Processing Centers (PPCs).
